Jason Kidd was well aware of the talent his Milwaukee Bucks would be up against when they hosted the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
Before his troops broke up the Warriors' 24-game victory march, the Bucks head coach gushed about reigning MVP Stephen Curry, noting the impact he will have on the younger generation of basketball fans.
"He's our modern-day (Michael) Jordan, in the sense that when we were growing up, we all wanted to be like Mike," Kidd explained, according to The San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons.
"This younger generation will see Steph playing at a very high level - not only one year, but hopefully for the next five or six years. He's young and still has a lot to give to the game."
With the numbers Curry has put up during Golden State's historic start, the comparisons won't go away anytime soon.
