A new patch has just been released for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One ports of "NBA 2K16."
The game's publisher indicated that the new patch is meant to prepare the game for the start of the upcoming "Road To The Finals 2K Pro-Am" tournament, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
In pursuit of that, the newly released patch is more focused on the bugs that are found in "NBA 2K16's" MyCOURT, MyPARK, and Pro-Am modes.
For now at least, it looks like the other gameplay modes of "NBA 2K16" will remain unaffected by the arrival of the latest patch.
As for what the new patch does specifically, one of its new features is the addition of Player of the Week and Player of the Month listings to the MyPARK leaderboards.
The new patch is also addressing a few bugs, including one that previously allowed players to wear mascot outfits even though they were not qualified to do so just yet.
The latest "NBA 2K16" patch also fixes a bug that once led to players erroneously producing ankle breaker reactions. Additionally, the "NBA 2K16's" newest patch is introducing a variety of tweaks that should improve the overall performance of specific game modes such as MyCOURT.
Aside from the patch, the game's developers have also unveiled a new roster update that is making significant changes to some of the players inside "NBA 2K16," Design and Trend reported.
One player who has been significantly affected by the latest roster update is the Miami Heat's Hassan Whiteside. Thanks to the latest update, Whiteside now sports a 100 block rating inside "NBA 2K16" that should help him swat shots with greater regularity.
On the flipside, Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers was adversely affected by the newest "NBA 2K16" roster update as his rating has been decreased.
